Essential Oils

All of our essential oils are tested for quality and purity prior to packaging. The certificate of analysis confirms organic standards are met by producers and that the unique characteristics of each essential oil are present without adulteration (i.e., no essential oil dilution; the species of oil you pay for is what you get).
Our essential oils are pure, chemical free, and always organic when organic standards can be established and confirmed. Be careful buying organic labeled essential oils for oils such as frankincense and myrrh. Poor supply chain traceability, along with ineffective organic certification standards, enable impurities to be present in the final product that are inconsistent with the product label. This is especially true when producers don't practice sustainable harvesting of the resin in wildcraft species. If the company you buy "organic" frankincense/myrrh/cedar/etc. cannot produce a certificate of analysis upon request, proceed with caution!
Essential oils have been used for millennia by mankind in aromatherapy, holistic healing, and many other applications. Each essential oil brings unique characteristics to bear for the educated artisan, masseuse, healer, DIYer, and anyone in between.
We'll provide you with a basic understanding of the qualities of each essential oil we sell, but you can gain much more knowledge through self-education. A good book to get started reading is "Essential Oils: Natural Remedies" available on paperback or Kindle here: Go to Amazon
NOTE: Essential oils are concentrated organic compounds and should never be ingested or applied directly to the skin. Pregnant women are advised to consult a doctor prior to use.
